On 20 October 2026, Dr. Ana Slavec, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher, hosted Dr. Sebastian Dahle, Assistant Professor at the Department of Wood Science and Technology, University of Ljubljana and Rebeka Lorber, a doctoral student at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Polymer Technology in Slovenj Gradec.

In the morning, they attended the Sixth meeting of mentors and PhD students at the University of Primorska Library, which focused on Open Science. During the event, Dr. Slavec presented key aspects of publishing research data in the era of Open Science, while Dr. Sebastian Dahle discussed current practices in the evaluation of academic research and upcoming changes introduced by the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA).

In the afternoon, they visited the InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM building, where Prof. Dr. Matthew Schwarzkopf, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher, presented the research activities carried out in the laboratories.
