Prof. Dr. Andraž Legat from the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute (ZAG) and the University of Primorska (UP) gave an invited lecture at ETH Zurich on 21 August 2026, entitled “Characterization of Dynamic Corrosion Processes Under a Single Droplet by Means of Coupled Multi-Electrode Array (CMEA)”.

The processes discussed were fundamental components of atmospheric corrosion, which was highly relevant in a wide range of natural and industrial environments, including the initial stages of nuclear waste storage, as well as the deterioration of metallic elements in cultural heritage. The lecture was followed by intensive discussions, including the possibility of pursuing joint research activities.
