The AMBIENT project partners recently launched the official AMBIENT project website. It is a central hub for connecting public buyers to Europe’s most innovative material solutions.

European cities are feeling the pressure of climate change. From overheating public squares to degrading coastal infrastructure, the materials we used in the past are no longer enough to protect our future. To build more resilient public spaces, public authorities need access to the next generation of advanced materials. Over the next 24 months, the AMBIENT consortium will work to strengthen the uptake of advanced materials through innovation procurement, supporting public authorities in addressing some of today’s most pressing urban challenges, including climate resilience, energy efficiency and citizens’ wellbeing.
