InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher participated in the Joint Meeting SIS-FENStatS 2026, combining the 53rd Scientific Meeting of the Italian Statistical Society (SIS) and the 1st Scientific Meeting of the Federation of European National Statistical Societies (FENStatS), held 22-25 June 2026 at Sapienza University of Rome, in Italy.

Dr. Ana Slavec, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher, presented a poster titled How citizen science supports statistical reasoning and led a session on statistical literacy. Dr. Ana Zalokar, from University of Primorska also contributed to the programme by presenting the contribution titled Statistical games: activities to promote statistical literacy in early childhood, co-authored with Dr. Lara Lusa, from University of Primorska.

The Joint Meeting brought together researchers, professionals and representatives from national and international institutions to discuss advances, applications and current challenges in statistical science.
