Dr. Ana Slavec, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher, together with Dr. Mateja Erce and a team of 76 international researchers recently published a new scientific article “Data from the Researcher Mental Health Observatory STAIRCASE Survey”, published in The Journal of Open Psychology Data (JOPD).
In the article they are presenting data from the STAIRCASE survey on researcher mental health conducted within the COST Action ReMO (Researcher Mental Health).
The dataset includes responses from 4,296 researchers and covers key mental health outcomes such as depression, anxiety, stress, burnout and well-being, alongside detailed information on working conditions, leadership behaviour and organizational characteristics.
The data support a multilevel understanding of mental health in academia and provide valuable evidence for identifying systemic factors affecting researchers’ well-being, contributing to the development of healthier and more sustainable academic work environments.
