InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM at the SHiFT conference on climate resilience

InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher attended the international conference Reframing Climate Resilience: The Transformative Role of Social Sciences, Humanities and the Arts, held 1–2 June 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal. The conference was organised within COST Action CA21166 – SHiFT and hosted by NOVA University of Lisbon – School of Social Sciences and Humanities (NOVA FCSH).

The conference programme addressed the role of social sciences, humanities and the arts in climate resilience and sustainability transformation. Discussions focused on governance, institutional learning, participatory approaches, climate justice, youth engagement, transformative pedagogies and arts-based methodologies for climate action.

Dr. Lea Primožič, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researcher, participated in the conference with a presentation on living labs and co-creation approaches within the WoodStock project, addressing sustainable and climate-resilient construction solutions.

The event brought together researchers, policymakers and practitioners from across Europe and beyond, while also providing opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange, networking and discussion on future directions for climate resilience research and policy.
