Donya Bazyar, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM assistant and PhD student at the University of Primorska Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies, successfully presented her doctoral dissertation topic titled “Development and Analytical Modelling of Demountable CLT–Concrete Composite Floors with Tightenable Notch Connections”.
Her PhD research focuses on the development and investigation of the governing mechanics of demountable CLT-concrete composite floor systems incorporating a tightenable notch connection system. The study focuses on tightening-dependent mechanical behavior, the influence of disassembly-reassembly cycles on structural and vibration performance, as well as the development of analytical models that incorporate these effects for serviceability and ultimate limit state design of the proposed system. She is developing this topic under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Derikvand.
Congratulations!
