Dr. Anna Sandak, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM Materials research group leader and representative of the University of Primorska in the Technology Council for Advanced Materials of the European Commission, attended the 3rd meeting of the Technology Council for Advanced Materials, held on 14 April 2026 in Brussels, Belgium.
The meeting brought together high-level representatives from EU Member States, academia and industry to discuss key priorities of the upcoming Advanced Materials Act, including the launch of the European Advanced Materials Academy, reducing time-to-market, strengthening EU production and addressing supply chain risks. Discussions also focused on improving regulatory preparedness to accelerate innovation and strengthening Europe’s strategic autonomy.
This is important also for InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM research projects, such as the ERC Archi-skin and the EIC Pathfinder Remedy.
