Dr. Andreja Kutnar and Dr. Lea Primožič, InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM researchers, attended the WoodPoP Policy Lab 2026, titled “The Evolution of WoodPoP”, held 20-22 April 2026 in Tulln, Austria.

They represented Slovenia and the InnoRenew CoE, UP IAM, which is leading the Technical Working Group on Education and Vocational Training within the European Wood Policy Platform (woodPoP) initiative, in collaboration with the Ministry of the economy, tourism and sport. They contributed to discussions on the WoodPoP’s achievements, the identification of opportunities and gaps, and future scenarios for WoodPoP.

The Policy Lab brought together initiative members and invited experts, enabling exchange and discussion on the future of sustainable wood use in Europe. Participants also visited the Wood K plus research institute, which provided additional opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange. The event was organised by the Technical Working Group Governance of the European Wood Policy Platform (woodPoP).
