WoodStock project meeting

InnoRenew CoE researchers – Dr. Rok Prislan, Dr. Michael Burnard, Špela Vrtovec and Tara Vovk, attended the 2nd General Assembly of the WoodStock project.

From 16–19 June, 36 wood experts from across Europe gathered at NTNU Faculty of Architecture and Design for the meeting in the heart of Trondheim.

The week was focused on collaboration, innovation, and advancing the sustainable use of underutilised wood (damaged wood, post-consumer wood, hardwood, low-quality wood).
Project partners discussed about the progress and co-creation across all Work Packages, organized the pilot co-creation workshops on storylines and the world café methodology and prepared experiments with stimuli. Moreover, they discussed about knowledge needs for 4 types of underutilised wood, and participated in the smartphone filming training to boost storytelling and outreach.

Finally, the meeting was attended by Patrice Godonou, WoodStock advisory board member, who provided valuable insights.
