InnoRenew CoE researchers at NIR 2025

Dr. Jakub Sandak and Edit Földvári Nagy, attended the 22nd International Conference on Near Infrared Spectroscopy, held in Rome, 8–12 June 2025.

Edit presented her contribution about using collaborative robots to automate near-infrared spectroscopy measurement of wood samples, and in the poster session she highlighted the suitability of selected near-infrared spectroscopy instruments for determining 35 chemical, physical, and mechanical characteristics of wood. Dr. Sandak presented the topic about rapid phenotyping of trees with NIR spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging.

The conference, hosted by the Italian Society of NIR Spectroscopy (SISNIR), aims to bring together global experts, researchers, and industry leaders to advance and share knowledge in the field of near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy.
