InnoRenew CoE at the LIGNA fair

InnoRenew CoE participated as a co-exhibitor with Ledinek Engineering d.o.o. at the LIGNA fair.

InnoRenew CoE representatives – Dr. Jakub Sandak, Dr. Črtomir Tavzes, Dr. Andreja Kutnar, Dr. Mohammad Derikvand, and Donya Bazyar – presented the institute’s latest research in the field of renewable materials and sustainable construction. They especially highlighted their activities in the area of advanced manufacturing technologies.

 

“Participating at the LIGNA fair allowed us to showcase our research to a broader audience, especially to industry representatives,” said Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, and added: “With the knowledge we develop at the institute, we aim to support the transition to a sustainable society and, through strengthened relationships with industry partners, accelerate the transfer of innovations into practice. We are happy to collaborate with the company Ledinek, and thus demonstrate that by combining science and industry, we can jointly contribute to the advancement of the wood industry.”

LIGNA is the world’s leading fair for woodworking and wood processing plant, machinery and tools, held in Hannover, Germany.
