This week, InnoRenew CoE hosted DIAMONDS project partners at the meeting to discuss about the progress on multiple work packages and plan the next steps of the project.
The meeting opened with welcoming words of Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director. Later they discussed about all seven work packages, including reviews of mid-term reports, administrative updates, and planning for future publications. They focused on material and composite characterization, weathering and ageing of specimens which are exposed on the InnoRenew CoE roof, vibro-acoustical diagnostics and polyurethane adhesives.
The meeting concluded with a discussion on potential follow-up projects and a tour of the InnoRenew CoE building and laboratories.
The DIAMONDS project, co-funded by the National Science Centre of Poland, and the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency, is focusing on diagnostics and assessment of mechanical performance of aged adhesive bond made of beech, and rigid and flexible polyurethane adhesives.
