Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, participated at the conference NEB 2025: Prostor možnosti.
At the event, representatives of the European Commission, ministries, and other stakeholders presented the New European Bauhaus (NEB) guidelines for the 2025–2027 period, key development opportunities, and financial mechanisms. In addition, several creative, sustainable, and collaborative practices were showcased, including the New European Bauhaus Academy.
Dr. Andreja Kutnar joined a roundtable discussion where participants discussed how the NEB influences policy and development in Slovenia. She highlighted activities of the NEB Academy, which aims to accelerate the upskilling and reskilling of professionals in architecture, construction, and engineering sectors. Through a network of training hubs across Europe, the Academy brings together regional expertise and provides access to content on sustainability, circularity, and knowledge of bio-based materials.
Organizers aimed to promote cross-sectoral collaboration and long-term involvement of Slovenian stakeholders in NEB and other European and related initiatives. The conference also sought to contribute to the development of a national vision for spatial transformation, based on creativity, sustainability, and community.
The Centre for Creativity and the Museum of Architecture and Design (MAO), under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, are taking on the role of the national contact point for the New European Bauhaus initiative.
