Dr. Andreja Kutnar, Dr. Rok Prislan, and Eva Prelovšek Niemelä, attended a seminar for architects and designers on the topic of meeting the environmental requirements of the Green Public Procurement Regulation in the design or construction of buildings, as well as the challenges associated with building wooden structures.
The seminar began with a welcome address by Mr. Darko Sajko, Director General of the Wood Industry Directorate.
Eva Prelovšek Niemelä presented various types of wooden construction and the monitoring of wooden buildings during their use, with a focus on acoustics and humidity. Dr. Rok Prislan spoke about the importance of acoustics in wooden construction, while Dr. Andreja Kutnar discussed the NEB Academy’s micro-credentials, which can support the advancement of green public procurement implementation for buildings in Slovenia.
The seminar was organized by the Chamber of Architecture and Spatial Planning of Slovenia (ZAPS) and the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport.
