Lei Han, InnoRenew CoE researcher, welcomed at the institute’s building two visitors – Panagiotis Manoudis and Martin Dickie – from Zero Ignition company.

They met to discuss about the Innovative engineered wood products made from Thermo-hydro- mechanical densified wood with enhanced physical, mechanical and fire performance (WoDeFi) project and to explore cooperation on investigating suitable fire retardant for wood modification and thus increasing fire-safety of wood construction.

Finally, they toured around the building and research laboratories and gained insight about key research projects currently being carried out at InnoRenew CoE.
