  • Where were you living in childhood and where do you live now?

I lived in Plabennec in my childhood, and I live now in Brest (both cities in France).

  • What have you studied and what were the motives for your decision?

I studied mainly mathematics, programming and web development and I wanted to study theses because I thought the subjects were interesting, and I was eager to discover more about it.

  • How would you describe your work to someone outside your field?

I try to transfer data from one point to another, and to give some suggestions with these data.

  • What makes you excited about your work?

To discover another way to do something and the work of a researcher.

  • And what is the biggest challenge at your work?

To stay focused and to see where I go in the next steps.

  • Which scientist or scientific achievement are you fascinated by and why?

I’m fascinated by Isaac Newton and his theory about gravity (the legend tells that he understood when he sat down an apple tree). It fascinates me because it makes me think that small life events can lead to big discovers.

  • Tell us about the work of art (books, music, movies, theatre, dance, visual arts) that has a special place in your life.

A special work of art that take a big place in my life is the Mysterious Cities of Gold, this series makes me dream since I was a little boy and continue to make me dream about adventure.

  • What have you read, listened to, or watched lately?

I recently watched the House of the Dragons series.

  • Describe your very first impression of Slovenia.

My first impression of Slovenia is that this country is full of trees and mountains. It seems very peaceful and calm.

  • What makes you enthusiastic?

Some good music that makes me dance.

  • Characterize your life’s guidance or an important realization (or epiphany) you have experienced.

My life guidance is “Eat well, sleep more”.

  • What does the charm of wood mean to you?

The charm of wood means to me something comfortable, warm, and very protective.
