REMEDY the new EIC Pathfinder project at InnoRenew CoE

Dr. Anna Sandak, InnoRenew CoE Deputy director and Head of the Materials research department, recently successfully received the EIC Pathfinder Open grant. The EIC Pathfinder aims to boost innovative technologies that have the potential to create new markets.

In the successful project, REMEDY “Archibiome Tattoo for Resistant, Responsive, and Resilient Cities”, Dr. Sandak and her team will be further investigating probiotic architecture and introducing metabolic thinking in the circular building industry.

The project brings together six partners from four EU countries: Slovenia, Austria, the Netherlands, and Slovakia. The collaboration includes InnoRenew CoE, the University of Ljubljana, the Technical University of Graz, TIGER Coatings, Xylotrade B.V., and Qres Technologies with the in-kind support of the University of Primorska as a third party.
