Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, together with Dr. Manja Kitek Kuzman from Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, visited a company Arboreal in Uruguay.

They meet with Carlos Mazzey, director of technical office, and discussed about their mass timber production, and how they are promoting eco-friendly building practices by using renewable resources.

At the visit was also Ines Bocage, executive director of the Centro Tecnologico Forestal Maderero (CTFM) whose mission is to promote the articulation and coordination of all actors in the forest-wood chain, identifying challenges and seeking innovative solutions, improving competitiveness and promoting sustainable development.

This meeting provided a great opportunity in strengthening international cooperation between the institutions.
