Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, attended the 13th European Wood-based Panel Symposium, held 9-11 October 2024 in Hamburg, Germany.

She presented the fire retardants in wood-based panels and the compatibility of materials in the session dedicated to resins.

Other key topics were about hydrophobic agents for the production of particleboards with bio-based binder, new way of MDF gluing, and bio-based, switchable adhesives for reshapable wood-wood composites.
