Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, attended the EFI Annual Conference, held 18 September at the EFI Secretariat in Bonn, Germany.

EFI Associate and Affiliate Members heard about what had taken place during 2023-2024, plans for the development of the new EFI Strategy 2040, and discussed EFI’s work plan for 2025.

Members participated in interactive sessions on communication and stakeholder engagement, discussing challenges and opportunities with the media, policymakers, and the public. During a panel speakers shared insights on strategies and impacts. Additionally, the Young Scientists Session showcased AI and forests, featuring Hackathon results and talks by young researchers.
