Dr. Wojciech Pajerski at the Crosscarpatian Synchrotron School

Dr. Wojciech Pajerski, InnoRenew CoE researcher, participated in the Crosscarpatian Synchrotron School, held 10-14 June 2024.

Hosted by the SOLARIS Centre in Krakow, Poland—part of the LEAPS consortium (League of European Accelerator-based Photon Sources) and the most recently established synchrotron facility in Europe — the school brought together a diverse group of young scientists, experienced professionals, and experts from synchrotrons across Europe.

During this intensive training, Dr. Pajerski explored the potential applications of synchrotron radiation in his research on interactions between microorganisms and surfaces. He also presented the latest results from the ARCHI-SKIN project, showcasing innovative findings and promoting collaboration within the international community of scientists from universities worldwide.
