Dr. Michael Burnard, InnoRenew CoE Deputy director, joined the event Building Sustainable Municipalities – What Does it Take?, held in Kyiv, Ukraine and online.
He took part in the panel discussion about Human-centric Planning for Reconstruction and Development and presented the New European Bauhaus Academy Hub (NEBAP HUB).
The event was organised by U-LEAD with Europe, a multi-donor action of European Union and its member states Germany, Poland, Denmark and Slovenia to support the establishment of a multi-level governance that is transparent, accountable and responsive to the needs of the population of Ukraine. The focus was on sharing practical aspects of ensuring sustainability of municipalities and on perspectives on Ukraine’s recovery.
