9th Congress of Psychologists of Slovenia

Last week, University of Primorska’s Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies, and the Association of Psychologists of Slovenia, organised the 9th Congress of Psychologists of Slovenia, held at the Bernardin Congress Centre. This year’s congress main theme was “Self and environment: the interplay of inner and outer worlds”.

Nežka Sajinčič, InnoRenew CoE’s researcher and PhD student, attended the congress and presented her research, where she examined the impact of background music in educational videos on learning.

Dr. Dean Lipovac, InnoRenew CoE’s researcher and Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies’s professor, led a professional writing workshop. In addition, Natalija Volovlek, a student of the Biopsychology programme, presented the study “The influence of the internal environment and mindfulness on individual psychophysical state and cognitive functioning”, which she and other students are conducting under the mentorship of Dr. Lipovac.

The congress was held under the honorary patronage of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr. Robert Golob.
