Dr. Karen Butina Ogorelec, Ana Gubenšek, Faksawat Poohphajai, and dr. Anna Sandak, InnoRenew CoE researchers, recently published a study “Assessing the Bioreceptivity of Biobased Cladding Materials,” in Coatings.

Materials exposed to the outdoors are prone to various deterioration processes. The objective of this study was to examine the early colonisers on a diverse set of coated and non-coated biobased façade materials. Both the material type and the climate condition at the exposure site influence fungal colonisation.
