InnoRenew CoE part of the woodPoP initiative for policy in the wood sector

Slovenia has taken over the leadership of the Technical Working Group on Education and Vocational Training in the European Wood Policy Platform (woodPoP) initiative.

The aim of the project is to achieve effective development and implementation of wood policies across Europe for the sustainable development of the wood sector. The working group will be in charge of the training needed to implement the developed policies.

The Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, in cooperation with the research institute InnoRenew CoE, has taken over the leadership of one of the five technical working groups in the woodPoP initiative – Technical Working Group on Education and Vocational Training. The group has already started its work, identified short- and long-term objectives, and defined how they will work together with the New European Bauhaus Academy to define the training needed to implement the policies.
