Dr. Miklós Krész, InnoRenew CoE research group leader, in collaboration with Peter Juma Ochieng from Óbuda University and University of Szeged, József Dombi from University of Szeged, and Tibor Kalmár from University of Szeged, recently published a scientific article »A Special Structural Based Weighted Network Approach for the Analysis of Protein Complexes«, in Applied sciences.

The detection and analysis of protein complexes is essential for understanding the functional mechanism and cellular integrity. In the article they introduce a special structural-based weighted network approach based on a Weighted Edge, Core-Attachment and Local Modularity structures (WECALM).
