Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, welcomed students from the Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica and the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies and professors involved in the project Wood in Tourism: Potentials of Wood as a Sustainable Material for Sustainable Tourism (LesTur).

Dr. Kutnar presented the institute and guided them through the premises and research laboratories. Following they discussed the work of the project and further activities planned.

In the LesTur project, students from both faculties are analysing the use of wood in tourism and studying the potential of using wood as a sustainable material for more sustainable tourism in Portorož.
