Data visualization challenge

The second issue of Nightingale, Journal of the Data Visualization Society, published the inaugural Nightingale analogue data visualization challenge. It invited readers to create a handmade data object to visualise a personal dataset.

Dr. Ana Slavec, InnoRenew CoE researcher and consulting statistician, joined the challenge and submitted her product.

“My visualisation is made from waste material and is based on the data of the Slovenian real estate register,” Dr. Slavec said. The visualisation represents the percentage of buildings in Slovenia based on the material of their supporting structure.
