Dr. Ana Slavec and Lea Primožič, InnoRenew CoE researchers, participated in the Slovenian Sociological Meeting 2022, which was held under the title Socio-ecological transformation.

They presented the response of Slovenian and Austrian enterprises in the forest-wood sector to climate change in the conference session dedicated to the topics of spatial and environmental sociology. This research is carried out together with colleagues from the University of Graz in the framework of the bilateral project Innovation activities of Austrian and Slovenian companies in the wood-value chain.

The conference started with the welcome address of Iztok Prezelj, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana, Andrej Kirn, Professor Emeritus at the University of Ljubljana and Honorary Member of the Slovene Sociological Association, and Hajdeja Iglič, President of the Slovene Sociological Association.
