Dr. Iztok Šušteršič and Dr. Igor Gavrić, InnoRenew CoE researchers, hosted representatives from REM, a Slovenian producer of prefabricated modular buildings, within the EQProofModul project meeting.

The EQProofModul (Earthquake Proof Modular unit) project is developing an innovative earthquake-proof modular unit that will enable earthquake-proof multi-story modular construction. The focus is the development of a new hybrid steel-timber structural system, which will be experimentally tested and numerically optimized. The experimental campaign will include structural connection tests, wall assembly tests and tests on multi-story prefabricated modules.
