Dr. Miklós Krész, InnoRenew CoE research group leader together with Peter Juma Ochieng from the Institute of Informatics, University of Szeged, and András London from the Department of Operations Research and Mathematical Economics, Institute of Informatics and Quantitative Economics, Poznań University of Economics and Business, recently published a scientific article “A Forward-Looking Approach to Compare Ranking Methods for Sports”, in Information.

In this paper researchers provided a simple forward-looking approach to compare rating methods with respect to their stability over time. Results suggests that PageRank and Massey rating methods provide better rating and ranking stability than simple methods.
