InnoRenew CoE hosted employees UP’s Faculty of Management

Today, InnoRenew CoE hosted employees from the University of Primorska’s Faculty of Management. The group visited Izola and the institute’s new premises and laboratories.

Dr. Andreja Kutnar, InnoRenew CoE director, welcomed and greeted the guests and presented the key features and activities of the institute.

Dr. Iztok Šušteršič, research group leader for Sustainable Building with Renewable Materials at InnoRenew CoE, discussed the building’s timber construction and characteristics.

Dr. Michael Burnard, InnoRenew CoE’s deputy director, completed his PhD at the Faculty of Management, where he developed the concept of restorative environmental and ergonomic design (REED), which was used in the new building. REED is also one of the main research areas at the institute.
