InnoRenew CoE researchers visited Tallinn University of Technology

Dr. Laetitia Marrot, Dr. David DeVallance, Jaka Pečnik and Marica Mikuljan, InnoRenew CoE researchers, visited Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) in Estonia to meet with partners from the bilateral project “Valorisation of hemp by-products for composite applications”.

The researchers also visited the university’s laboratories and the new TalTech nearly zero-energy building, its most energy-efficient building and an example of a well-controlled indoor climate. Further, they attended and presented at a seminar where Dr. DeVallance gave an overview of InnoRenew CoE, Jaka Pečnik and Marica Mikuljan presented experimental results from the bilateral project and Dr. Marrot presented the topic of biomass valorization through a thermochemical process, which she is developing within her Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action fellowship (FAÇADE project).
