Dr. Miklós Krész and László Hajdu, InnoRenew CoE researchers, in collaboration with András Bóta from Luleå University of Technology, published a scientific article “Evaluating the role of community detection in improving influence maximization heuristics,” in Social Network Analysis and Mining.

In this article, the researchers investigated “how several popular community detection algorithms can be used as part of a heuristic approach to influence maximization.”
