InnoRenew CoE second lecture for KOCles 3.0

InnoRenew CoE’s Dr Matthew Schwarzkopf and Dr Andreja Kutnar gave the institute’s second lecture within the framework of the “Competence center for human resources development in woodworking (KOCles 3.0)” project on 13 September 2021.

This lecture was about engineered wood products, such as glue laminated timber, CLT, LVL, composites and hybrid wooden elements, as well as elements from deciduous wood. Binder systems used in wood composites, production of wood composites in the lab, wood anatomy and its influence on mechanical properties of wood and wood forensics were also discussed.

KOCles 3.0. seeks to establish and develop a competence center for human resources development in woodworking that will increase employee’s skills, support companies’ competitiveness and enhance the exchange of knowledge and good practices.
