Dr Igor Gavrić, Dr Václav Sebera and Jaka Pečnik, InnoRenew CoE researchers, in collaboration with Meta Kržan and Boris Azinović, from the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute, and Arkadiusz Kwiecień and Bogusław Zając, from Cracow University of Technology, published a scientific article “Mechanical performance of timber connections made of thick flexible polyurethane adhesives,” in Engineering Structures.

In this article, the researchers investigated “timber connections with flexible polyurethane adhesives, which prove to have the potential for timber-adhesive composite structures without mechanical connections for seismic regions.”
