InnoRenew CoE hosted participants of the 14th International Scientific Conference – WoodEMA 2021, “The response of the forest-based sector to changes in the global economy”.

WoodEMA 2021 was held 16-18 June 2021 in Koper, Slovenia, and participants undertook a study trip to InnoRenew CoE’s construction site.

Participants had a chance to see the institute’s new timber building in Izola, Slovenia. They also met with InnoRenew CoE’s architect Eva Prelovšek Niemelã and research group leader Dr Iztok Šušteršič to learn more about the design and construction process.
