On Thursday, 18 March 2021, the University of Primorska’s rector, Dr Klavdija Kutnar, virtually addressed and congratulated the recipients of awards and recognitions that are traditionally bestowed during the Week of UP.

The Gold Plaque of UP is one of the awards given to professors or other colleagues for a particularly great contribution to the development of scientific, artistic or pedagogical work and for advancing the greater reputation and visibility of the university. The Gold Plaque of UP is also granted to people or institutions that have contributed significantly to the development of the university. This year, the Golden Plaque of UP was awarded to the Municipality of Izola and was received by Mayor Danilo Markočič.

On this occasion, InnoRenew CoE congratulates the Municipality of Izola on their award and gives thanks for their onging support, mutual successful cooperation and recognition of the importance of science, research and education to the local community.
