InnoRenew CoE researchers Sidra Aslam, Aleksandar Tošić and Dr Michael Mrissa recently prepared a scientific article “Secure and Privacy-Aware Blockchain Design: Requirements, Challenges and Solutions”.

Their article was published in a special issue of the Journal of Cybersecurity and Privacy, “Intelligent Security and Privacy Approaches against Cyber Threats”. This is an international, peer-reviewed and open access journal that accepts and publishes research findings about different aspects of computer, systems and information security.

The topic of distributed ledger solutions has gained much attention recently. In their article, InnoRenew CoE researchers presented the taxonomy of current attacks together with related countermeasures and a comparative analysis based on various parameters of state-of the-art privacy and security mechanisms.
