Podcast with IRIC2020 keynote speaker Carlo Battisti

The InnoRenew CoE International Conference 2020, “Integrating sustainability and health in buildings through renewable materials”, is getting close. It will be hosted both live in Izola, Slovenia, and online on 3 September 2020. Carlo Battisti, who is currently the president of Living Future Europe (LFE) as well as a sustainable innovation consultant and project manager, will be the keynote speaker.

Carlo Battisti also co-founded the Living Building Challenge Collaborative: Italy (LBCCI) and served as European Executive Director for the International Living Future Institute (ILFI). He is also Chair and Project Manager of COST Action 16114 RESTORE (REthinking Sustainability TOwards a Regenerative Economy), which seeks a paradigm shift towards restorative sustainability for new and existing buildings and space design across Europe.

Moreover, Carlo Battisti has a podcast. For the second episode, he ran an interview conducted with Amy Simmons, InnoRenew CoE assistant researcher, where the two discussed ILFI’s visionary programs, the Living Product Challenge, manufacturers’ response to sustainability, the role of technology and the upcoming InnoRenew CoE International Conference.
