InnoRenew CoE and the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade, are partners in a bilateral project, “The use of chemical wood modifications to protect wood against wood-borers in the marine environment”.

InnoRenew CoE researchers Vesna Starman, Nastja Podrekar and Dr Črtomir Tavzes visited the Serbian faculty to discuss past activities of the project and plan for future research work. While in Belgrade, they also gave two invited lectures to Faculty of Forestry students and visited Boreal, a producer of luxury furniture made from oak wood.
