On Thursday, 9 January 2020, from 10:00 to 16:00, Dr. Ana Slavec, RDA Europe Ambassador for Renewable Materials and Products and consulting statistician at the InnoRenew CoE, will hold a workshop on research data management for renewable materials and products.

The purpose of the workshop is to introduce researchers to key concepts in research data management and teach them how to share data in a responsible way in line with FAIR principles. Participants will also learn about best practices for using spreadsheets to manage their data. They need to bring their own laptop to take part in the practical session where they will either work on writing a data management plan or preparing their data to be submitted to a repository. The content is relevant for researchers from all fields, not necessarily only researchers working with data on renewable materials and products. The workshop is co-organised by the InnoRenew CoE Renewable Materials and Healthy Environments Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence and will take place at the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies at the University of Primorska in Koper, Slovenia.
