Second Sheld-on conference meeting

Sheld-on COST Action CA16226 held its second conference meeting, with management committee meeting, on 17 October 2019 in Ohrid, North Macedonia.

Dr Anna Sandak, research group leader for Wood Modification at the InnoRenew CoE, attended as a member of both the Sheld-on management committee and Ageing Well at Home, in the Community and at Work working group.

Dean Lipovac and Nežka Sajinčič, InnoRnew CoE assistant researchers and University of Primorska doctoral students, also attended and participated in the meeting. Dean presented his research about improving older people’s acceptance of new technologies by changing the description of technological solutions. Nežka talked about the reverse mentoring process, which is when younger people mentor older people, and its effects.
