Dr David DeVallance, the InnoRenew CoE research group leader for Renewable Material Composites, attended the 2019 SSP grant writing workshop, hosted by InnovaWood in Brussels.

The event took place 14-15 October 2019 and brought together InnovaWood members to discuss strategies and experiences in writing proposals for Horizon 2020 calls. The InnoRenew CoE is a member of InnovaWood, which is an umbrella organization integrating European networks in the forestry, wood and furniture industries to support innovation in these sectors.

During the workshop, Daniela Gomes, a consultant and trainer for EU projects, provided information and guidance on writing successful proposals. The event also included networking and discussion of potential collaborations.
