The Faculty of Forestry at the University of Zagreb is an internationally recognized institution, providing training and knowledge in the fields of forestry, wood processing and furniture manufacturing.

Dr Matthew Schwarzkopf, researcher in the InnoRenew CoE’s Renewable Materials Composites group, was invited by representatives of the Faculty of Forestry to visit them at the University of Zagreb on 4 September 2019 and give a lecture about his research and the InnoRenew CoE.

In his presentation, Dr Schwarzkopf outlined the institute’s research areas and current projects with a focus on the Pro-Enrich project and research he is working on to connect the olive oil and wood industries.

Colleagues at the Faculty of Forestry organized a tour of their laboratories for Dr Schwarzkopf and presented their research projects to him.
