The InnoRenew CoE Information and Computer Technolgies (ICT) research group recently visited the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy.

InnoRenew CoE’s Dr Miklós Krész, research group leader, and researchers Dr Balázs Dávid and László Hajdu met with ICTP’s Prof. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay to discuss possible cooperation between the two institutes.

The ICT research group presented research topics and projects they are currently working on, while representatives from ICTP presented new methods they have developed, which can be used in data analytics tasks at the InnoRenew CoE. The two groups also talked about approaches in optimisation of sensor placement.

“The meeting was successful, as we agreed to start working on some research topics together,” said László Hajdu.
