Dr Ana Slavec is a member of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) FAIR working group. At the beginning of July 2019, the working group met in Brussels to discuss preparation of a recommendation for the implementation and application of FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable) principles for research data.

At the meeting, Dr Slavec took part in the group focused on metrics and certification. She and the other participants also got to know the EOSC Executive Board and their work, working methods and organizational work plan.

The EOSC FAIR working group, which has 26 members from 20 member states, will address interdisciplinary, interoperability, collect requests relevant to EOSC services and advise the EOSC Executive Board on matters related to FAIR principles.
