The European Forest-based Sector Technology Platform (FTP) is dedicated to bringing together industry, forest owners and public authorities to discuss and build a critical mass of knowledge on common research and innovation needs for the sector and decide on the best ways to cooperate. FTP organized its annual conference in Romania, which focused on regional challenges in the European forest sector.

Dr Črtomir Tavzes attended the conference as a representative of the InnoRenew CoE, University of Primorska and Slovenian National Support Group (NSG Slovenia).

In the framework of the conference, the 47th FTP Advisory Committee Meeting also took place. This meeting was dedicated to the introduction of new members and discussion of the upcoming conference that will take place in Helsinki.
