The 2019 Hungarian Operations Research Society conference took place in Szeged, Hungary. This biannual conference represents the major national forum of Hungarian researchers in the field of operations research.

Dr Miklos Krész, the InnoRenew CoE research group leader for ICT, and Dr Balázs Dávid, researcher, joined the conference. Dr Dávid presented his research on the Heuristic method for designing heterogeneous structures using modular elements, while Dr Krész had a presentation titled “Uniquely patterned (g,f)-factors”.

They also met and discussed possible collaborations with several researchers and representatives from Hungarian institutes.
